Struggling against the loss of self-identification - How to live a life in which you only remember today?
Alice goes through different steps dealing with her disease. Not only she but her family makes efforts on coping with the changes on her life. She gradually loses her abilities as a profession, a woman and an adult. In the end, she may only remember things happens in less than a day.
It's hard to deal with everything all on one's own, but easier and more hopeful with the help and support from family members. It's also difficult to imagine how to live the life once it's been twisted by accidents or diseases like what happened to Alice. Wish we can be as strong as Alice when encountering such things.
